College of business administration holds exhibit of global products in UAE

Coinciding with the Celebrations of the 43rd UAE National Day in Ajman University of Science & Technology, the students of the College of Business Administration have organized an exhibit entitled: UAE Center of Global Trade during the last week of November 2014.  The exhibit was undertaken by female and male students of the international business class sections under the tutelage of Dr. Mervyn Misajon, a management faculty of the college.  With the sponsorship and full support of the College Dean, Dr. Lilyan Ghayeth Salih as well as administrative staff and faculty, the exhibit was a resounding success according to Dr. Abdul Hak Al Nuaimi, Director-Community Service Department who graced the occasion as well as the students from other colleges who witnessed the event.

The students established 5 booths representing North America, Africa and the Middle East, Eastern Europe, Western Europe, and Asia.  Each booth contained the logos of manufactured products and services for global consumption, found in the UAE.  They also displayed products such as watches, handbags, food items, and other items commonly found in supermarkets and shops across the UAE. The exhibit showed where all products came from and created knowledge and awareness for the students.

The men section created a world map that depicted the minerals and resources that were utilized in the regions, which are shipped/utilized in the UAE. The exhibit showcased the artistic talents of students and highlighted their familiarity with business products, services, and innovations around the globe.
