College of Business Administration, Ajman University Honors Assembly

Faculty and staff of College of Business Administration, Ajman University got together to award faculty members who have served CBA over the years and put in dedicated efforts to help CBA achieve its mission and realize its vision, and students who have achieved academic distinction amongst their peers. The first CBA Dean’s Honors Assembly was held on Tuesday 24 April 2018 at the CBA Meeting Room, honoring 4 faculty members and 13 male and female students.

Prof. Akinola Fadahunsi, Acting Dean CBA, reiterated that every member of CBA community is an asset and has an important role to play in order to take CBA to new heights and help it achieve its dream of becoming one of the most respected Business Colleges in the region.

While three male and ten female students were honored for academic distinction, the faculty members were honored in four categories. Faculty Excellence in Teaching Award went to Dr. Mohammad Qutubuddin Siddique, Head Of Marketing Department, Faculty Excellence in Research Award was awarded to Dr. Ibrahim El Siddig, Associate Professor, Head Of Accounting Department, Faculty Excellence in Service Award was given to Dr. Lilian Gheyathaldin Saleh, Associate Professor, Accounting Department and Adjunct Faculty Excellence in Teaching Award was awarded to Ms. Pecky Humayun.

CBA Dean’s Honors Assembly concluded on a light note with CBA Faculty, Staff and Dean’s List winners unwinding and communicating over refreshments break arranged for the occasion.
