Dr. Samia Abbas Kargawil is an Assistant Professor of Management. Before AUST, she has been teaching for 9 years at various esteem universities in the GGC region including King Saud University in Riyadh at both the undergraduate & postgraduate degree levels. She also taught at Eshal European University College of Brussels’ Dubai Branch for their MBA program. She has experience supervising research students for AUST’s MBA program, while currently teaching in AUST’s MBA program. Her other duties include intensively supervising students’ research at the undergraduate level. She is a member of the editorial board of the Journal for International Business, Entrepreneurship Development (JIBED), and a member of the American Association of International Researchers (AAIR).

Dr. Kargawil is thoroughly involved in the accreditation process of the undergraduate program in the College of Business Administration at AUST. Her areas of interest in Business Administration include: Management, Organizational Behavior, Organizational Theory and Design (organizational structure), Women & Entrepreneurship, and Women in Management. She is also engaged in some specific areas of interest such as: women & entrepreneurship, gender and leadership, and women & work-life dilemma.
